Reproductive freedom is the essential right of everyone to plan their futures and control their destinies. Rep. Connolly believes in expanding access to safe and legal abortion, affordable contraception, ending pregnancy discrimination, and ensuring medically accurate, comprehensive sex education is taught in schools. Rep. Connolly works to ensure equitable access to services across the state and believes that "fake women’s health centers" should be held accountable.

Rep. Connolly is proud to work closely with statewide organizations NARAL Pro-Choice Massachusetts, Planned Parenthood, and the ACLU of Massachusetts.

In his first term, Rep. Connolly has proudly:

• Filed H.3649 - An Act to ensure teen safety, abolishing the requirement minors seeking an abortion obtain parental consent
• Voted to enact H.4009 - An Act relative to advancing contraceptive coverage and economic security in our state ensuring copay free birth control
• Voted to enact S.2260 - An Act negating archaic statutes targeting young women repealing archaic laws criminalizing abortion
